Design Crush of the Week: Jeffrey Bilhuber
Interior Designer Jeffrey Bilhuber has a uniquely Americana perpective when it comes to his designs. He fuses traditionalism with modern sensibilities, and has a talent for conceiving of new and visually inspiring space: "He mixes periods and design ideas with a confidence and instinctive style, whose rules are self-evident: practicality and sheer beuaty" (Bilhuber.com). If that weren't enough, Anna Wintour, the editor and chief of Vogue, is one of his clients. If he's talented enough for her, he's talented enough for us too.

Design Crush of the Week: Eric Cohler
Eric Cohler is considered most famous for his unique ability to seamlessly juxtapose contemporary and classical design elements. Known for mixing unusual textiles, patterns, and colors, Cohler has been named "The Mixmaster" by industry editors. Beyond interior design work, Cohler has also created a line of rugs, furniture and fabrics for Lee Jofa as well as lighting designers for Visual Comfort & Co. Cohler's accolades include being named one of Elle Decor's Top 25 interior designers in America, as well as being named Designer of the Year by New York's D&D. Here are some of our favorite Cohler designs mixed in with My Chic Nest products that we think would fit perfectly in his spaces.

2013 Golden Globes Fashion Re-Cap
The 2013 Golden Globes have come and gone, and while the ceremony was quite entertaining, thanks in large part to hosts Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler, my eyes were on the fashion! Isn't watching what our favorite stars wear on the red carpet the most exciting part? Vibrant colors and beaded gowns seemed to be a theme for the night. Here are some of our favorite looks that just happen to remind us of our own designs. Hope you enjoy.

Design Crush of the Week: Celerie Kemble
The beautiful and talented interior designer, Celerie Kemble is a true force to be reckoned with in the design world. Named by Elle Decor Magazine as one of the top 5 most influential Women in Design, Kemble has truly solidified her place as a top trend maker among the elite designers. Kemble's signature design statements include mixing textures and materials, creating a layered effect. Her spaces always have an unexpected element to them, yet never feel forced. Kemble perfectly explains her design mantra, saying: "As life as in design, it is not perfection you should be after. There's beauty in the faded and worn, the well loved, and the sentimental...After all, life has seams. Your home should be like a loosely woven fabric of desires, memories, practical, notions, and even compromises". I think we can all take a note from Kemble's design approach. Hope you enjoy flipping through our compilation of favorite rooms designed by Kemble Interiors.
